DEVOLIN
CELEBRATES THE COMPLETION OF WORK ON TWO COMRIF PROJECTS IN
WILBERFORCE
— Local
MP Barry Devolin joined Peterborough MPP Jeff Leal, on behalf of the
Honourable Leona Dombrowsky, Ontario Minister of Agriculture,
Food and Rural Affairs; and Dave Burton, Reeve for the
Dillman’s
Bridge, previously closed to traffic, was replaced with a
low-maintenance structure built to current engineering standards.
The
Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario each committed up
to $429,567
to the project through the Canada-Ontario Municipal Rural
Infrastructure Fund (COMRIF). The

Municipalities of Ontario and local partners to respond to
local needs through infrastructure upgrades to provide clean, safe
drinking water, better sewage systems, improved waste management

and safety priorities.
